Vintage Motorcycle Rally 2023

Another enjoyable weekend was had for the Vintage Motor Cycle Club Stirling Castle Section's annual rally in August, despite the unfortunate wet weather. The morning of the rally started with sunshine and locals came to see the gathering of 76 bikes from far and wide. The oldest bike was from 1915!

Unfortunately, a heavy shower hit the riders shortly after the start of the ride out, surprising some who had not donned their waterproofs. Most riders made it round the course with no issues. The long route included the switchback on beautiful Glen Quaich towards Kenmore.

The evening's entertainment included music and and a buffet, with most participants camping over for the weekend. There was another ride out on the Sunday. We look forward to welcoming the VMCC back in 2024 for a training day and for the rally.
