Donations are an important source of funding for the running of the museum and maintenance and development of the camp.
Soon, you will be able to donate through this page.

The museum is dependent on visitor donations to cover the costs of:
- running the museum
- provision of visitor toilets
- building repairs and renovations
- exhibitions and events
The museum is located in the brick building we refer to as the Jail Block. There are a number of leaks throughout the building and the whole roof needs to be replaced - estimated cost, £40 000.
The east wing is not currently open to visitors. Volunteers are stripping the many layers of old paint from the walls in preparation for painting.
The Officers' Mess is an iconic building on the camp. Many ex-forces have fond memories of dinners and drinks with high jinks around the fireplace.
CDT has secured a small amount of funding but not nearly enough to preserve the building, rejuvenate the familiar fittings and make it a centre of festivities yet again.
The aim is to relocate Camp 21 Cafe in to the Officers' Mess where it would have a larger kitchen and greater capacity . There would also be space to hold functions and events. Volunteers have so far lifted the flooring...watch this space.
There are two huts not yet open to the public which will house further heritage exhibitions and events. They need to be supplied with electricity, have windows repaired and replaced and be decorated.
