Carry On Culty 2023

Join us for a day of swords and gunpowder with soldiers from medieval times to the present day. Explore camps of soldiers and their kit and camp followers demonstrating crafts, cookery and gruesome surgery. In the arena, experience battlefield demonstrations and have a go at sword fighting and pike drill. Live the 1940s with the Lumberjills and Canadian Forestry Corps and watch out for escaping PoWs. Also not to be missed is the exceptional display of military vehicles and equipment. Meet the modern army and cadet forces, enjoy the pipe band and live music, try your hand at rifle shooting on the range and sample quality cuisine and fun activities.
